Our room was spacious, very comfortable but simply too heat for us – although there are days in the west Highlands when which may be welcomed by different guests. The quiet, plush drawing room of the resort is perfect for afternoon tea or catching up with the day’s headlines – in print, TVs are limited to rooms. Almost taking second place to the panorama our food was actually delicious and employees courteous and attentive. The highlight of our quick break, apart from Eriska’s chocolate truffles, was the view from the Cairn atop the island with two golden eagles circling effortlessly overhead one night – see blurry photographs!

Attention to element not as excessive as the resort promises. No mirror or plug point in acceptable position . Problems of laundry resulted in towels not modified and room not cleaned for a day . Decoration in major resort rooms requiring immediate consideration.

We didn’t eat in the restaurant so I can’t touch upon this. There are areas of the resort thay are a wee bit drained for certain but the employees and the food hold it at 5 star ranges. Beautiful location, your individual island to discover. We liked this place and would journey to Scotland again simply to remain here. We loved the restaurant, the croquet pitch, excessive tea, the indoor swimming pool, free mountain bikes and the cottage. We totally enjoy our stay on the scenic Isle of Erika and extremely suggest this resort. The roads resulting in the lodge and the hilltop lodging had been very poor.

Stayed in hilltop room – very comfy, nice view, sizzling tub. The meals was generally very good, with a few of it being glorious. The workers were nice and the service was spot on. The room we had was extra like a collection and was very good.

The restaurant staff have been pleasant and educated. The meals was amazing even for Michelin standard. Unfortunately the decor inside the lodge was less than commonplace. There had been several partitions that had been a mess, in want of a good lick of paint. Also the main physique of it could be cleaner, the stairs have been regularly soiled in want of vacuuming and there was a useless wasp on the touchdown window sill the whole time we were there!

The staff though desperate to please were not as skilled. Everything was great apart from the cost of drinks. Significantly overvalued – my solely criticism for an otherwise good 3 nights. I was especially annoyed that they have no vegetarian choices at breakfast, regardless of having a vegetarian dinner menu. The solely factor was the swimming pool area which badly wants a refurb.
